Founder of the law firm; lawyer specializing in industrial property rights protection.
Studied jurisprudence at Universität der Freien und Hansestadt Hamburg (University of the Free and Hansa City of Hamburg).
Legal traineeship in Hamburg and Washington D.C., scientific assistant at Universität Hamburg from 1976 to 1980. Doctor’s degree in administrative cartel law. Founded Law firm in 1980.
Member of „Deutsche Vereinigung für gewerblichen Rechtsschutz und Urheberrecht e.V.“ (German Association for Industrial Property Rights Protection and Copyright, reg. ass.); original member of Rotary-Club Nürnberg-Neumarkt.
Guest lecturer for working groups of trainee lawyers; examiner for the Second State Examination for Law appointed by the Bavarian Ministry of Justice; Chairman of the joint examination committee “Gewerblicher Rechtsschutz” (Industrial Property Rights Protection) of the Lawyers’ Associations of Bamberg and Nuremberg.
Dr. Cöster is active in an honorary capacity with a Protestant parish.
